Tarpon Fishing
Fly fishing Tarpon is one of the most explosive and heart pounding sports in the world! Fishing in the Florida Panhandle for Tarpon covers a stretch of coast from Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, Apalachicola, St. George Island, Carrabelle, Lanark and Dog Island.
Tarpon migrate from a single fish to schools of 10-50 along the West Coast of Florida until they make their way to my home waters of the Florida Panhandle. We will fish only by sight for these exhilarating prehistoric creatures, adding to the unforgettable experience. We will fish in 2-4 feet of water in white sand or broken bottom in the emerald waters along North Florida’s Forgotten Coast. To witness a 100 plus pound Tarpon inhale a fly at the end of your rod tip can cause your heart to momentarily stop (we hope!). Tarpon season takes place during the summer months of May-August. Join us for an unforgettable experience and memories that will last a life time.
